What is naturopathy?

 

Naturopathy is a philosophy of life and an approach to living, which includes a proper diet, fresh air, light, water and physical activity. As a Natural Health Consultant, I am here to educate clients on how to live a lifestyle as close to na­ture as possible and to teach them to be healthy by including the following in their daily lives:

•    Do no harm— All natural, non-invasive procedures are used.

•    Nature is the healer— The body has an inherent ability to heal itself.

•    Identify and eliminate the cause— Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual factors are explored to help balance the body’s system.

•    Educate— Naturopaths do not diag­nose, treat, cure ailments or pre­scribe medicines. We educate and offer to each client information they can apply to their lives.

•    Honor the whole person— Naturo­paths do not just target symptoms. We look deeper to the cause of the symptoms and discuss methods for creating a return to health.

•    Prevention is the best course of action- Naturopaths help clients build a balanced, healthy body and lifestyle.
