Eligibility for Accreditation
AADP Professional Program Accreditation is available to educational programs that demonstrate alignment with AADP professional standards and instructional integrity. Recognition standards are designed to ensure consistency, educational integrity, and ethical alignment across recognized institutions.
Programs seeking accreditation must:
Deliver structured curriculum aligned with professional preparation standards
Maintain defined instructional scope and documented learning objectives
Provide verifiable instructional leadership qualifications
Demonstrate operational governance and program oversight
Curriculum Standards
Programs must submit:
Curriculum outline and course descriptions
Instructional hour breakdown
Learning objectives
Assessment methodology
Curriculum is evaluated for professional alignment within the AADP credentialing framework.
Instructional Leadership Qualifications
Programs must provide:
Curriculum vitae (CV) of primary instructional leadership
Documentation of professional credentials
Evidence of subject-matter expertise
Experience relevant to instructional content
Instructional leadership review ensures program integrity and professional competence.
Governance & Administrative Integrity
Programs must demonstrate:
Defined program oversight structure
Ethical operational standards
Student documentation practices
Record retention processes
Administrative review supports lifecycle compliance and verification consistency.
Accreditation Lifecycle
Accreditation is granted for a five-year term.
During this period:
Annual dues maintain accreditation status
Year 1 compliance review confirms continued alignment
Year 3 compliance review reassesses standards adherence
Year 5 initiates full re-accreditation review
Remediation Process
If deficiencies are identified during lifecycle review:
Formal notice will be issued
A remediation window will be established
Corrective documentation will be required
Failure to complete remediation within the designated timeframe may result in suspension or revocation of accreditation status.
Graduate Volume & Tier Placement
Accreditation dues are structured based on annual graduation volume.
Programs must report graduation volume accurately and may be reassessed if reported volume materially changes.
Application Submission
Programs meeting eligibility requirements may submit an application for formal review.
