Eligibility for Accreditation
AADP Professional Program Accreditation is available to educational institutions that demonstrate alignment with AADP professional standards, educational integrity, and ethical practices.
AADP accreditation standards are designed to support quality educational experiences, promote professional alignment, and maintain consistency across participating institutions.
Programs seeking accreditation should:
- Deliver a structured curriculum aligned with professional preparation standards
- Maintain documented learning objectives and instructional scope
- Provide verifiable instructional leadership qualifications
- Demonstrate operational oversight and administrative integrity
Curriculum Standards
Programs should submit:
- Curriculum outline and course descriptions
- Instructional hour breakdown
- Learning objectives
- Assessment methodology
Curriculum materials are reviewed for alignment within the AADP professional framework and intended educational outcomes.
Instructional Leadership Qualifications
Programs should provide:
- Curriculum vitae (CV) of primary instructional leadership
- Documentation of professional credentials
- Evidence of subject matter expertise
- Experience relevant to instructional content
Instructional leadership review helps support program quality and educational integrity.
Governance & Administrative Integrity
Programs should demonstrate:
- Defined oversight structure
- Ethical operational standards
- Student documentation practices
- Appropriate record retention processes
Administrative review supports institutional consistency and verification standards.
Accreditation Lifecycle
Accreditation is granted for a five-year term.
During this period:
- Annual School Membership maintains Active accreditation status
- Accredited institutions should notify AADP of significant organizational or program changes
- Material changes may trigger review requirements
- Year five initiates a re-accreditation review process
Examples of significant changes may include:
- Institutional relocation
- Ownership changes
- School name changes
- Major curriculum revisions
- Delivery modality changes (online, in-person, hybrid)
- Significant operational restructuring
Remediation Process
If significant concerns or deficiencies are identified:
- Formal notification may be issued
- A reasonable remediation period may be established
- Corrective documentation may be requested
Failure to address material concerns may result in suspension or removal of accreditation status.
Fees
AADP School Accreditation includes:
Application & Accreditation Review Fee: $199 (non-refundable)
Annual School Membership: $325/year

Application Submission
Programs meeting eligibility requirements may submit an application for formal review.
AADP School Accreditation is a professional accreditation designation issued by AADP and does not constitute governmental, regional, or academic accreditation.
