Apply for Functional Medical Practitioner Certification
Professional recognition for practitioners focused on whole-person health, systems-based wellness, lifestyle factors, and individualized approaches to supporting optimal well-being.
The American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) invites qualified individuals to apply for the Board Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (FMP) credential. This discipline-focused certification is intended for healthcare professionals and qualified holistic practitioners who use functional medicine principles to understand the interconnected factors that influence health and support individualized wellness strategies.
Applicants may have completed programs in functional medicine, integrative health, naturopathic practice, holistic health, or related disciplines. The title of an applicant’s educational program does not need to match the certification title exactly; AADP evaluates the relevance and substance of the applicant’s education, credentials, and professional preparation.
